Hey Guys, I've lurked on the threads here before. I really respect the wealth of knowledge you guys are willing to impart. I will outline my equip. first.
AR XA turntable with a Denon Dl 110
Yamaha natural sound C-65 pre-amp
Adcom Gfa 555 II amp (suggested by Bill Watkins of infinity fame)
Infinity Quantum 5's (next up renessaince 90's)

I have an unmounted Infinity Black widow tonearm with an ADC XLM mk II cartridge, I am a cabinet builder buy trade, I am looking for advice as to turntable plinth designs I could couple with the tonearm, I was thinking of copying (mostly) the XA design out of solid walnut, buying a working parts table and just upgrading everything with the parts from vinyl nirvana, ie... springs, motor, etc.. thoughts?
