Hello, I'm just a guy loves music without much experience on audio hardware, but I'd like to make use of some that I've found home.

I know that introduction posts are not for questions, but here's a brief one: is this a place for turntable and cassette deck repair information?

Welcome! Actually two separate forums...Turntables and Tape. Both will have loads of info & knowledgeable folks to help you in your audio quest!
 
Look at the upper left. See the "Forums" icon. Push that. Then look for "Turntables" or "Tape". Those will take you to either category. Welcome
