I stumbled on this while looking for some information on an Elac Miracord 50H. So now I will go searching for the information.

I have been dabbling in audio equipment since High School. I, with my late father's guidance and assistance, bought a pair of kits, a receiver and amplifier, long enough ago they were tube type, I believe Lafayette Radio units. Dad helped me build a cabinet using his Craftsman Radial Arm Saw. and advised me to think of the system as a whole, primarily helping me understand that I needed the best components (Receiver, Turntable) first as a real good amplifier and speakers would simply reproduce whatever noise or distortion was there. I saved my grass cutting money and purchased a Garrard Lab 80 when they first came out.

System went through numerous upgrades, marriage, kids etc. over the years.

I do not have the system set up, I need to get the rest of it from where it is stored currently, but here are the two Miracord 50H turntables. The one with the incomplete tone arm is the German one. The US one has the complete set of cables. I did find and order a spindle for it, just the standard changer one. I still need to find a cartridge and shell, cartridge shouldn't be too hard, shell is being elusive right now.
