New Insignia's!

Hello!

That's my blog and review. I'm pretty sure the Insignia NS-SP213 have been around for couple years now, but they don't seem to have gained much interest as a cheap budget speaker. At least not like the previous generation, or items like the Dayton b652 or Pioneer BS22's.

For the retail prices and especially the sales price these are hard to beat. Far better than Polk or JBL offerings in the same price range. And IMO Better than the BS22's, but I tend to find the BS22 pretty muddy and do prefer a slightly brighter tweeter.

Either way, If someone is looking for cheap surrounds, or a desktop 2.1 system that will kill any Logitech out there. These should be one of the options people consider. It is hard for me to recommend these for anything that might be bass heavy as I do think they require a subwoofer.

Here's an early review from Average Joe Audiophile. http://averagejoeaudiophile.blogspot.com/2015/01/insignia-ns-sp213-best-buy-did.html

Anybody try these yet? Heard or even heard of these yet? I'm gonna start watching for sale prices and see about picking a pair up.

They are on sale now at $50.00/pair. Been waiting on the sale to try them; not bad at all for the money. Real sleeper. Bestbuy doesn't push them at all in their stores as they want to sell the more expensive gear.

I just saw them back on sale. I was tempted to buy them again just to keep them. I'm glad you also thought they were pretty good for the money.
