Now this ought to be interesting. 45 RPM coming October 30.

I passed on Dire Straits because the OP RL really seemed like the standard, plus the original source is digital anyway. I passed on Miles Davis Kind of Blue because I had just purchased the 200G Quiex. I've got NM OP's in both mono & stereo but I'm really curious what MFSL can do with this.

I doubt that MFSL can outmatch my Mono '66 RCA Victor release(s) (i have @ least a coupe copies). They are nearly perfect sides.
 
The original mono pressings are pretty sweet, but I have a liking to the echoed stereo pressings as well. I'll probably pick this MFSL release up since it's such a good album.

I've always wondered about it. Psych music from the 60's is tough to remaster. The inherent noise, feedback, and general rawness of it isn't something you want to edit out or smooth over but still you want as much clarity as possible.
 
Isn't this Mfsl Airplane Mono? I have Mfsl of Crown of Creation a great recording by the way. I have both Mfsl cd and vinyl of Crown of Creation ,the vinyl sounds better.
