hello everyone on Ak. I'm a new member from Bakersfield California. Love all the ideas and experimental mind set on this site. Just recently bought an entry level set up and will probably upgrade after getting some education in hifi audio. I love listening to music, especially fusion jazz and concert music. I am a two-speaker stereo only listener, although I am always expanding my interests.

Hello there Bakersfield, I lived there about a hundred years ago, bought a 1964 Chevelle Malibu SS there from some good ole boys,drove it over the grapevine the next day down to fantastic L.A. I wanted their Chevy II but with that they would not part... the olde Malibu took me far and wide back in me old folkie > head bangin' > rock N roll daze. I was so much older then, I am younger than that now.......Enjoy Audio Karma.

Welcome! I spent a few years in the central valley myself. It is an underappreciated part of California (or would be if the air was better).

You are in a target rich environment if you are looking for speakers and such. You will have no problem finding some great stuff with a little patience.
