Hello everyone. I figured I was long overdue for this kind of introduction. Long time lurker around this website. I caught the bug about 2 years ago, when my grandfather passed away and I found an old turntable in his garage. It was nothing special, an old SoundDesign that I still have saved for my son's first once he is old enough (he'll be 2 in April.) After that, I spent a lot of time collecting vinyl with a friend and playing them on a sony turntable I purchased from Best Buy. Recently though, I have come into a lot of vintage gear and I have caught the bug! My wife just bought my a nice Pioneer PL-71 turntable as an early X-mas/Birthday present, so now I am on the hunt for an old amp and set of speakers to match.
Anyway, it's great to meet everyone here, I'm looking forward being part of the community. And if there are any people around the Winchester area, maybe we can trade places on hidden record places!
