thanks for reaching out Cat. the girl i was dating at the time dad was a serious audiophile (all McIntosh) and at his advice my first system consisted of an AR integrated amp, EV Patrician cabinets with D131 and 075 JBL drivers, and a Dual 1019 turntable. my current set up is an Amber preamp 2, a recapped Carver M500T, Magnepan MMGs in conjunction with a Klipsch 12 powered sub, Thoren TD165, and Tascam CD recorder/player. i just purchased a super clean Van Alstin preamp one that i plan on replacing the Amber with.

A lot of you 60s like guys...i'm literally thinking you can just do junky stuff to it and was the sound of it..it wasn't probaly till 75-77'' till started winding coupling caps tighter...thats what i'm saying alot of that was still just some junkkk thrown together still. It sounds Enthusiast like but i know how i think feel like I'm reviewing tech and holding the pen correctly when I write or something.
