Hi everyone. Just became a new member recently after scoring a couple of vintage marantz receivers a couple of weeks ago. I got a 2230 for $40 and a 2270 for $60.

I'm almost done recapping the 2270 after reading and getting a lot of valuable information from this great forum. Special mention to patfont, echowar, and rbuckner just to name a few, for their very informative posts.

I'm learning a lot and will continue to do so to enjoy my retirement from the military after spending 21 years in the US Navy.

Thanks. I got lucky that day. I had to thank my wife for dragging me to drive her to the garage sale. If not, I would have never gotten these Marantz .

Holy Molly! That's a long time ago. I was just a kid back then . You must have enjoyed your liberty calls in the pacific during those time too .
