Decided to do away with that mumbo jumbo bs inside my technics SL-1100 turntable and wired new phono cables to the board where the wires are soldered from the arm. Used Sheilded cable normally used for vga when running componet video to the tv. Much better sound! I made each cable 3 feet long. Went to menards and bought a 50 foot heavy duty 12-3 extention
cord and used it to rewire the AR 9LSI speakers. Cost 25.00 much cheaper than high priced glamour speaker wire. Really did a great job for the Ar`s. Old speaker wire was 16 guage and was getting green corrosion internally. Was 20 years old tho.
