New RF Cable "F" connector fell apart

HI all,

I needed to work with a new gold connector and the lead pulled straight out (no effort). Can anyone guide me as to how to put this connector type back on the lead cable? Or a video link or any link. I un-skrewed the spring, which is fatter at the end that inserts. So I suppose the ground braiding gets put in there somehow? See photos.

Oh, I guess I should have done some research first. I will need a compression tool for that "F" type connector. Don't have one. Figures, I'd get a defective new stock RF cable.

You should be able to find one at home depot or Lowes.
