New set up... Mystery speakers and receiver

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this stuff, I just picked up my roommates old system and I'm trying to figure out what I have.

I have a

Technics SL-D2 turntable
JVC R-K10 Stereo Receiver
and very mysterious speakers... all it says is Model: Ambiance 1 D-Box. Prod, ID #94092000

Thoughts?
