new SX-737 - my first pioneer

Just got my 737 from an ebay score last week. It's a nice one - sounds amazing! I took a couple of quick pics:

The only issue I've noticed so far is that the FM light doesn't work. I'm sure that's an easy fix, I've just never done it before and have no idea what kind of lamp it would need. Any pointers? thx!

Nice! I really like the Pioneer SX-x2x and x3x series receivers. dgwojo should be able to answer all of your lamp questions.
 
If it's anything like my SX-535 and my SX-727 was, the bulb is in a crimped style enclosure at the top of the dial needle. Not too difficult to change out, IMHO.
 
The FM light is about a 4mm bulb with leds rated at 8v at 50 milliamps.

I opened it up and jiggled the wire around a little, and the FM lamp came back on. So I guess it was just a loose wire connection. Good thing, because I don't think I'd be able to figure out how to get the old one out. I guess that entire metal housing piece must come off? Anyway, it's working now at least. :thmbsp:
