New to AK and Vintage Equipment

Hello, Just started getting into vintage gear within the last year. What a rabbit hole...lol

I had a Pioneer SX-650 (my dads) as a kid in the late 70s. I started liking the 50 and 80 series but I'm drifting towards Marantz, Sansui and the "3" series Pioneers. Mostly because I like the blue colors of the lights.

I've already established a decent collection of Pioneer, Marantz and Sansui.

My latest is a very nice but non-working Pioneer QX-949. I'm reading these are the "fun" ones to work on. Doing a bunch of research here to help with troubleshooting/repairs on the amp board.

Welcome! I too have been seduced by the glowing blue lights, but the green ones are sexy too. I never understood collectors (hoarders) until I rediscovered vintage HiFi. Now I need a bigger house. Or at least one with a basement .
