New to AK

Hi everyone,

I am new to both AK and vintage audio so I will have many, many questions. I have been a music fan all my life and recently decided to get some equipment so that I could enjoy my LPs. I just got a new Thorens TD-158 turntable, a Marantz 2270 on eBay, and am waiting on my EPI Epicure 100 speakers. Again, I know nothing about vintage audio and made these purchase decisions based on price and reading lots of posts.

Looking forward to learning a lot about vintage audio from AK

I hope you find lots of good info here for your "new" interest. You might discover some potential friends, as well.

I joined last January and am amazed how much fun I've had reading other people's stories of garage sale finds, ingenious repairs and occasional glimpses of the elusive "magic smoke".

This love of gear and music is definitely in my blood! :music:
