New (to me) Denon Turntable

I recently sold a very nice Denon DP-60L turntable to pick up this DP-59L table - which was located about 2 1/2 hrs from me. I was very happy to find the table as nice as was described in the ad when I went to pick it up Thursday afternoon. Cosmetically and functionally - it is in like new condition. It came with a Signet TK10ML Series II cartridge. I've listened to it for about 2 hours and am real happy with how it performs. I'm not certain it is much of an upgrade from my DP-60L table - but I'm a big fan when it comes to the appearance of the DP-59L table

Looks very nice. How does the sound compare to your 60L ? Was it much of an upgrade or just a lateral move? I have a DP 60L and am very happy with it, it was my main table for a few years. My direction went to idlers but I was very happy with the DD Denon.

It is difficult for me to directly compare the 60L to the 59L table - as I had different cartridges on each table. I can say, without doubt, the 59L with the Signet cartridge provides more detail than the 60L with an Audio Technica AT-125LC. I suspect the key to the improvement is the different cartridges. I'm very happy with the 59L/Signet combination.
