Hello! Looking for information on the console I just picked up or somewhere I can find more information on it. Not having much luck searching the internet. Looking to restore and clean up this console so I’ll probably have a lot of questions in the future. I’ll try to post pictures but this is what I know: Zenith Solid State Console with turntable and stereo (from the 70’s?) I’m assuming this is the model and chassis number? 603F30. Any information on it would appreciated. As I know nothing and hope to learn a lot. Thanks in advanced.

It is a 1970 or 1971 model, an A960 or B960. That number you showed was not the model number, the model number was on that torn paper tag and no longer there.
Thanks for the information. From what I’ve read this was a decent unit for that year (I know the earlier one were better) Is that correct?
The unit needs a good cleaning as it’s pretty dusty do you have any recommendations on cleaning the stereo components and turn table? I haven’t really played it yet as I think it should be cleaned up first. Don’t want to ruin anything before even getting started.
When you get into the solid state consoles, you are probably needing to put greater value on the design style and quality of console itself as there will be few that have electronics that warrant much value at this point. A select few TOTL were still pretty nice. MCM styled cabinets seem to be in some demand compared to other style right now. Doesn't mean they cant sound nice when properly restored though. Otherwise, tube consoles are where it is and where a larger sweet spot was for sound and build quality.

That was the TOTL Zenith for that year. Separate power amplifier. Custom Zenith-branded Garrard 3500 record changer. I had the 1971 B966 with the hideous Mediterranean cabinet. If it was a B960 with the cabinet like yours I would still have it. It was a great sounding instrument with the 8 speakers (2 15" woofers, 2 exponential horns and 4 3 1/2" dome tweeters).
Still in the process of restoring the cabinet and the electronics themselves. However, I 'm having trouble locating what type of bulb goes under the console lid.
There is a light or sensor near the bottom (in the middle) of the front of the cabinet on the outside (looks greenish in color). It is wired to a bulb socket directly under the lid. Any idea what type of bulb goes in the socket (bulb #) and its purpose. Thanks for any information.

That is the pilot lamp. It lets you know that the unit is powered on. It is an 1847 bulb. The same type as in the record compartment.
