Hi Guys,
I'm new to this forum but a long time audio junkie. I tend to stay more toward the budget side of things and due to space constraints have to mix my music and ht setup. This is a great forum and I have enjoyed my reads here so far. People seem more grounded in reality here!
My current budget catch all setup:
Speakers:
Magnepan MGLR1
Acoustic Research 205vc center channel (from the classic series in the early 90s, I have a pair of 228s from then too which are awesome)
Cambridge Soundworks "The Surround" (cheap but work)
Cambridge Soundworks Powered Subwoofer (PSUB1, the original acoustic suspension model, not bad for the price $50.00 used!)
Preamp:
Sony TA-E9000ES
Amps:
Nad 2200pe
Adcom GFA-1a
Yamaha MX-630
Yamaha DSP-A1000 (using as three channel amp + NAD for 5.1)
Sources:
NOTHING GOOD RIGHT NOW! Sold my old transport and dac to do my PC audio project.
