The SDS boards do the power supply can caps and the ones under the hood. The metalbone kits do the other stuff. They're complementary.

That being said, it'd be worth your while to invest in four .1uf top quality output coupling caps rather than using the ones in the metalbone kit. I think you'd like the 600 volt .1uf Russian green K42Ys or the silver K40Ys. I prefer the K42Ys in a 500-C.

Hi Larry,
Would these work? They are .015 uf 630V . Are these the same? Looks like for sound. I think I found some .01 uf but trying to find the voltage of them.
Tone Capacitor K42Y-2 015 uf 630v +/- 10% PIO Russian.
Also found these: 0.1uf 630v Russian capacitors K42y-2 Green Body- I think these are the ones?

I'd go with NO HIGHER THAN .1UF. Dave G. stated at one time that higher than .1uf could introduce instability and unwanted oscillation.
