My old Yamaha cdx-1110u....more or less gave up the ghost so I have replaced it with a Sony CDP-XA20ES. Wish it had digital coax out but will have to either be happy with the dac it came with or go with the toslink. BTW it sounds very very nice as is. Best iI have heard yet compared to the Yamaha and may be better, I am still listening and so far the bass is sweet and low and the upper end is extremely detailed and I can hear things in my music I have not heard before. Best of all it plays cd-r's and everything else something the Yamaha never did well. This player is a cut above with it's slide out pick-up and weighted puck...wow. Score for $150.00.
