Newbie buying too much McIntosh! XR1051 Rebuild

Hello World!

I spend 8 hours a day on Facebook marketplace. This is my story.

I am relatively new to this hobby (2 months deep) and since then Ive purchased 6 sets of towers, a few bookshelf speakers and several random (poor quality) receivers, cassette players, and amplifiers. Most of my current inventory below (and what I paid!) —

Speakers:

McIntosh – XR14 - $340 (Fully rebuilt, non-OEM dome upper mid)

McIntosh – XR1051 - $175 (Large rebuild needed)

Realistic Mach II - $30 (Re-foaming these currently)

Sanyo – SS900 - $30

Frazier – C.A.D 1 - $8 (Such a steal! Haven’t seen much about these online)

Pioneer – CS-K835 - $50 (Terrible purchase, gifting to a friend)

Awia – SM-LX10 x 3 – $75 (I got robbed)

Amplifier / Receivers

Harman / Kardon – AVR 435 - $50 (used as pre-amp)
Yamaha - MX-360 - $100 (used as my amp)

My main goal of posting here is to learn more about the hobby and source parts for my XR1051’s. The passive radiator on both was replaced with an ugly aluminum cone, finding OEM replacements has been very difficult. The fine people at AudioClassics.com let me know they currently don’t have any of the parts listed below.

247-915 – 12’ Passive Radiator Assembly
020-046 – Decorative Trim Ring Set
024-008 – Rubber Decorative Ring

Any advice on finding these old OEM McIntosh parts, best rebuild strategy, room setup and general information about the hobby is welcome!

Assortment of images from the last two months below, don’t roast me too hard. Currently have the XR14’s and XR1051’s playing from the MX-360 and 435 AVR.

Thank you!
