Hi AudioKarma!! I'm a newbie looking to dive into the world of vintage audio and the tones of vinyl head first. I've got a Sony STR-7065 in good condition & KLH speakers and a Dual turntable to go with it. My professional work with computers and hobby of music performance over the years means I'm no stranger to pulling electronics apart for repair (recently just replaced a power switch on a Galaxy S4), so that gives a little bit of info on my background and skill set as well.
I'm looking forward to chatting it up here and getting up to speed so that I can not only bug you pros for help, but help out others as well. I think appreciation, preservation and restoration of vintage audio equipment is an important task and I really love seeing the kinds of things you guys do on here (in addition to all the other things on this site!). I can't wait to be a part of it!
