Hey group!
bear with me as I'm new to the group
I've got a few questions about my Marantz receivers that it looks like this is the place to ask so here goes...
I have a 4430 quad receiver that I bought new as my very first BIG expenditure ($600) way back in the 70's! I see one on ebay that they still want $600 for one. Is this a good price for this model?
My real question is about servicing it. Is there anyone in the Independence, Mo. area that can give me an estimate on what it will take to repair it. I'd really like to avoid mailing it anywhere if I can. I haven't had it 'on' for many years but as I remember some of the speaker outputs didn't work; some of the lights were out, and the power button is gone.
I started thinking about this a while back when I picked up a 2230 at a garage sale and am now using it my workshop (brought back up some great memories of when my 4430 was rockin' 10 speakers on three floors in my first house)!!!
Anyway... any advice/information would be greatly appreciated.....
