Hi all,
I'm a newbie to the forum, after having lurked around for quite a while.
I'm in Kuala Lumpur,Malaysia and relly get off on all the posts here.
I was a long time owner of a beautiful Marantz 2220 until a couple of years back, when I sent my unit in for a service and the owner closed shop, taking my Marantz with him.Sigh!
Time moves on.
Scored a near mint 2265 from a collector in Singapore and should be getting it this week from Singapore which is in mint condition.
Long live the vintage Marantz.

Cheers
james

Thanks for the welcome Leicalover.
It's quite a feat really.Getting a vintage Marantz around these parts is really tough
as most Malaysians threw away their old gear for new years ago.
My old Marantz was my only link to my youth apart from my small collection of vinyl.

Was missing her real bad and to take decisive action and soon.
So the 2265 will be a welcome addition to my home.

cheers
James
