I am going to integrate this into my Listening Room tomorrow. Have to make a few cosmetic repairs but overall it is in excellent condition. If you have nice gear it should have a good home. :yes: Will probably need to get a new bottle of Feed and Wax !!

Very nice. Were the speaker cabinets available with the console? You might try lightly sanding it and then using Tung oil. That worked great on my Barzilay speakers. I have the matching speakers for your console.
 
I'll send you my address so you can send me the matching speaker cabinets.....:no:....I got the cabinet from a friend who picked it up from the free section on CL. He said the guy he got it from told him it came with Mcintosh equipment but didn't get any more info than that. Would you be so kind to post pics of the matching speaker cabinets? I would love to pick up a set some day. For now I am going to refinish and stack my gear on the top and use the storage bins for Vinyl and CD's. I am planning on traveling to my cousins in Southern Oklahoma to pick up a set of Norman Lab Model 9's or 10's to compliment the cabinet.
 
Wow.. that's really nice.. I've got the speakers that match that.... Same trim on the front and the overhanging top. Wonder if the height is the same too... even the grain is almost identical...

I'll be looking for some matching speaker cabinets. I just got it in the house and have my Norman Labs which look pretty nice. :yes:

Somewhere in my files I have a scan of the brochure and they are all the same height.
 
Yeah.. I dropped the OP a PM... Looking at it with the gear on top of it, they look to be the exact same height.. I'm betting about 100% that the speakers I have were made in the same line as this.. meant to go with it... Every thing is spot on.. color, wood grain, molding, height, toe kick...

Cool.. looks like Duff confirmed it...
 
Dimensions are 57"W x 28 3/4" H Here is a pic of it mounted with my gear.
Speakers are Norman Lab Model 335's. :thmbsp:

Wow - that is a beautiful piece of furniture!

I love the design and have been looking for something exactly like that for a while. I currently have my main gear on top of a nice console (with the gear wrapped in walnut cabinets), but I would prefer an enclosed cabinet like yours. It would minimize the cluttered look and not draw attention to itself.

I'll have to keep my eyes open for Barzilay branded stuff in the future. Sadly, I'm sure a lot of it has wound up at the dump due to the size and weight.
