Nice find and congrats!
Great price!
Reminds me of my experience with NHT. I ran across a pair of 2.3's at Goodwill for $7.99 each. Had never heard of them, stood in front of them at GW and googled them, read a bunch of positive reviews, decided they were worth the try.
Wow! was I impressed when I got them home, hooked up and realized all the drivers were working and they sounded fantastic.
Again, congrats and enjoy that score you picked up today.

Great score !!!

Haven't heard an NHT speaker I didn't like....always smooth with great bass regardless of the size.

NHT was started by Ken Kantor, a legend in the speaker industry. There are very few models that aren't worth owning.

I can one up you. I bought some old speakers online, they shipped NHT Classic 4's by accident. Long story short, they shipped me the speakers I wanted and said I could keep the 4's. I thought, I'm going to sell these. That is until I listened to them. They are now one of two sets I listen too. The ones I originally bought, they are in the crawl space. These speakers rock and have a huge soundstage.
