The owner Gyula "Julius" Herda, of Oshawa Stereo here in Canada died as a result of a car accident.

His extensive, largely NIB, inventory was being sold . I think through a family friend.

They are selling on 4 ebay accounts !

sahand0 | eBay

stereoparts | eBay

marantzparts | eBay

audio parts | eBay

I bought a vintage Pioneer dealer sign from them brand new.

I'd rather have the model cars than anything else in that first link. Junk. He had better taste in cars.

Roughly $30 per magazine .. not that out of wack.
It's not that easy to find old stuff like that.
Most of it gets tossed out long ago !

:scratch2: Not quite sure how you're figuring. At present, $1 C = $1 US. $800/19 = $42.10 ea for the Nakamichi cats. Not sure how rare these particular brochures are.

Can't see someone paying $49 for an SX-3700 brochure when an actual minty SX-3700 brings what... $200 tops?

As to the SPEC-2 service manual @ $200, I just can't see that either.

I have a stack of mint 1980s Boston Acoustics brochures I've had for years and even a near perfect SX-3700 brochure (6 pgs?) and some other stuff. If it's worth that kind of money maybe I'll put it all on eBay myself...
