I hear you there Jimmy!! The snowbirds & retiree's bring us some pretty nice goodies once in a while! I look forward to meeting you at the "Desert Rat Audio Fest" next week!! :thmbsp:

One thing about snagging LP's like this is that they came from music lover's like us. Each one had the name "Gerri" printed with a marker on the cover and you know you can meet a thousand people and they will have no idea what this music is about. Either they were into Perry Como or Liberace or Jim Nabors or these days American Idol crappola!! That's just another reason why AK kicks ass!!!

I just got a dave brubeck live with jay and kai...it is an excellent live album, so I would say that the album you just picked up won't disappoint.

I would love to run across those brubecks you just picked up, I had never even heard of "time further out" but if its anything like its prequel i'll have to search for one.

You're right about that Ron!! I listen to a lot of this type of Jazz, no doubt about it the Regency's sound better, more open with this type of music as well as old school 50's music, Rockabilly, Blues etc. I've been side tracked with SS equipment etc. Gotta get a tube amp!!
