My wife and I are at the Yep Rock 15th Anniversary concert here in Carrboro, North Carolina. Nick Lowe played two nights ago, and it was pretty fantastic. An unexpected highlight was a performance by local kids singing "What's So Funny 'Bout Peace, Love, and Understanding." The other highlight was watching Nick Lowe and Robyn Hitchcock tearing through some Johnny Kidd songs...backed up by Los Straightjackets. Unfortunately, I was too intoxicated to hold my camera still! Oh well...

I've got Nick Lowe's "Cruel to be Kind/So it Goes" 45 I bought to see it that speed worked on a used TT I bought. It works perfectly, and the 45 sounds sounds great.
