I use a Nikko Alpha II to power a pair of Tannoy woofers, in a bi-amped sytem that uses a tube preamp, and a tube amp to power a pair of Alternate Audio planar mid speakers with ribbon tweeters. Very good amp in this setting.

I have an NA-890 and an NA-590. Both are awesome. I think I prefer the 590 a little more, oddly enough. It's just 35 wpc but plays cleaner at high volumes than anything else I own
