NIKKO NR-1019...................$140 BIN!!!! $80 start!!

That's a very nice reciever and well worth $140. It's not 100 watts like the buyer states though. I had one and it puts out 85 watts rms. Had a nice tuning section and sounded great. Sold it to a good friend who just had to have it.

Nikkos are decent receivers that are usually priced low by Ebay, just like Sherwoods and Onkyos. $80.00 would be a good price for this piece, so I'd be surprised if that BIN got hit.

We'll wait 'n see!

These sounded OK, but were VERY sensitive to low impedance speakers. I had lots of problems with it shutting off and not being compatible with a pair of 4 ohm Paradigm 9SE's. It also ran hot and tended to shut down on an old pair of Polks that were 8 ohms…

Hmmm; Mine ran a 6 ohm load with zero problems. Kinda wish I kept that nikko. I preferred the tuning section in it over my sx950.

Yeah, the "BUY-IT-NOW" is too high IMO.
So is the $80 start bid.
A $49.99 opening bid, with a $99.99....would be more reasonable.

I bought my 1219 for less than a C note shipped to my door.

Even $80 seems a little high to me for a 1019 when you factor in shipping on top of that.

Still, if you have to have it...

Scott -- I don't think it's one of the "have to have it" receivers. The 1219 is the one to get.

I like!

I've been looking at these top two receivers for a while. I'd really rather find a NA-850 integrated to pair with my MINT NT-850 tuner to represent Nikko in my collection.
