NIKKO NR 1019 swing meters

I am iso the swing meters for my NIKKO 1019 receiver. I need all 4. When I purchased it (good price) they were not functional, none of them. I think it may have been dropped. Fortunately this is the only issue, everything else is on good shape. Great receiver by the way and I want it to be in it's full glory and all working. Anyone have a donor machine they are parting out or know of a NOS outlet? Thanks!

You should probably take a meter and ohm them out. If it was dropped, the needles would be resting off their points or askew of some sort. If they look good and physically move (lightly shake) then they are probably still good and the circuit that drives them is wonky.

I had a Nikko years ago and the meters were frozen, no movement at all.

I posted here and I think @blhagstrom suggested the screw that holds the needle in place needed to be worked a little. Loosened and then tightened slightly a few times.

Did it and the meters came to life. ymmv
