Nikko STA-4010 does anyone have specs?

I got this little receiver a week ago and its pretty sweet but I can't find any info on the WPC anywhere online.

Does anything in the naming have to do with the wattage.
I know a Nikko 3035 had 17wpc. Does mine only have 5 wpc?

Any Nikko fans please chime in on Nikko's naming convention. Thanks!

As far as I can remember, it was around 10-15 per channel. Nikko numbering system had nothing to do with power, but straight up the line (the higher the first digit, the more powerful the unit). The 4010 was botl, followed by 5010, 6010 and 8010 I think. Early to mid 70s. It was the replacement for the 301, and was replaced by the 4020 and 4040. They changed so quickly it gets a little muddled, especially since they didn't (at the time) roll out a new lineup at the same time. FWIW, the 4010 was more than twice the size as the 301, but around the same power 9lots of room in there) and IIRC a fairly nice wood case. Enjoy

Thank you! I thought it had to be under 15 watts. Now I know what 12 watts sounds like in my setup.

It sounds really great but I think I need more power. This is the lowest wattage amp I've ever owned and the speakers I'm using seem to sound better with around 20-50Watts thrown at them. Gonna keep it around but am going to try something different.
