No Ability To Delete a Post?

I see a link to Delete an entire thread as the originator of it, but no delete function if you want to remove one of your own posts to a thread, even if you're the originator of the thread. Used to be when you decided to edit a post (say for spelling or mistaken info) there was a check-box to delete the post, then a confirmation, and it would all be gone. Now there's no ability to delete. What's up with that or am I just missing it?

I see the same thing. You can delete your thread but not an individual post.

The ability to delete individual posts is actually necessary to comply with the rules regarding bumping old threads in Barter Town, since one of the requirements is that you clean up after yourself by deleting old bumps.

I agree it would be nice to have the edit/delete feature back,,,if for no other reason than to be able to fix all the pics and links that got lost during the format change...

We HAD capability to delete individual posts a few weeks back ... but its gone now.

Yes, that is true. Changing one permission seems to affect other items, without rhyme or reason. As anxious as everyone is about this, and editing, there are still more pressing functional questions to be answered, before we deal with member permissions, only to risk having something undone, yet again.
