No NFL What To Do On Sundays Now...

After the season ended last weekend with a victory by the Steelers over the Cards, in what was a really fun Superbowl to watch. I've come to the sad realization that the season is officially over. No more football until Sept.:(

I find myself wandering aimlessly from room to room in my house. In the family room, where most of the NFL action took place, I can hear the faint echoes of Joe Buck & Troy Aikman as they call the action on the field. But alas, the tv is dark and silent. Sigh, what am I going to do on Sundays now...?

More audio projects. Buy some wrecked speakers and rebuild them. Or maybe grab some white van speakers and try to make something decent out of them...

After the SB there's a chasm in quality sports until March Madness. 'Round the first of April the emptiness starts again, but at least the weather is getting better.

The end of the NFL season results in a painful withdrawal every year.

I think I have watched every Daytona 500 since it was first televised in 1979.
I have saved about 6 SEC college football games on my DVR that I have not
watched yet, just waiting for a rainy day.

There is always Nascar to fill the void left by football. But, some people may not be into racing. Like I'm not into basketball, it bores the hell out of me! In that case you can go fishing or golfing or hiking or some other outdoor activity. Get out and get some fresh air and leave the boobtube behind. I like to get out with my cameras and get some nice shots.

What I used to do was turn my attention to basketball, but that doesn't hold my attention much any more. The time between the end of basketball season and start of NFL pre-season really sucks... I'm not into baseball very much. If you get NFL Network they have year-round programming but the next big thing will be the scouting combines and draft coverage:boring:

Not into hockey? You guys have a pretty decent NHL team. In position to make the playoffs as it stands right now. Oh yeah, Sunday afternoon. Not too many NHL games on Sunday afternoon. That is a problem.

Let's see...Land of a Thousand Lakes...:scratch2:

Beer and ice fishing with hot girls on skates?:D

I'm not a big Nascar fan, but I do enjoy March Madness. After that there's the Masters. I know, I'm pickin' at straws here. But I have 6 more months to get thru until kick off.:D Perhaps more beer.

I have to work every Sunday, so haven't gotten to watch much NFL football the last couple of years. I am an avid college basketball fan and enjoy watching at least a couple of games a week, March Madness is one of my favorite times of the year. I am also looking forward to MLB starting up. One of the things I enjoy about other sports is it isn't just a 2 day a week sport. I can enjoy baseball every day of the week.
