Noisy platter/speed issue after Garrard SL 72b repair.

I just returned home after picking up my Garrard SL 72b from the repair shop. I immediately hooked it up and noticed a clinking sound when the platter is spinning which is throwing the speed off. This is the first suspended turntable that I have owned. The Garrard is new to me so I am not overly familiar with it's operation. I wanted to get others opinions here if there is something that I can look at before I unhook it and take it back to the repair shop to complain.

I have included a video of the platter spinning to show what I'm hearing. It doesn't sound good to me. The transport screws are fully backed out so the suspension is free.

Thank you to anyone who can help.

the clicking sounds like the trip mechansm trying to engage

If the washer you're talking about is the bearing race, that usually sits on a little shoulder on the bottom of the platter to keep it centered. Its a hardened, precision ground piece where the balls ride.

Could you see the video?

I can. The tick sounds like the trip linkage trying to engage. If the catch on the center gear or the friction lever is sticky it will do this.
