Nocturnal transmissions
Some non-correct Design Acoustics speakers up on auction now. If you're looking, the tweeters are not original- they've been replaced by Infinity Polycells. Seller is aware of the non-stock tweeters. It is not mentioned however, in the auction.
I'm 99.9% sure that Design Acoustics, an Audio Technica company at the time, never used Infinity drivers.
Funny thing is, they fit perfectly in the Design Acoustics.
If that doesn't bother you, the non-original drivers, they may not sound bad. The tweeter, as stated, though not stock, fits as if it was made for them. But since they are not the stock tweeters, so sound as designed may be affected.
There are a few bids on them now, for low money, with a few days left to go.
