Non-Transactional Relationships are so special!

I have 2. Georgia is a 9 year old doodle and Poppy is a 5 year doodle. Pure 100% non-transactional relationships. No matter what I do, say, feed them or not feed them- nothing would affect their love or how they treat me. I could stand to be more dog like but my human nature just interferes even when I don't want it to.

So where did this come from? My wife and I were talking today and she said why does that situation have to be transactional? My knee jerk reaction was to reply "everything is transactional" Now..... I know that should not be the case. Real love is unconditional period. My "love" for my wife is absolute. We are bonded and that can not change. However our "feelings" are a different thing. I know there are times when she doesn't like me very much and likewise for me towards her. That is a transaction in my mind-feelings altering what I/we do and say. I really hope this makes no sense to you- may you all be humans who practice unconditional love all the time.
