Hi,
Long-time listener. First time caller...
I acquired a "Realistic Output Transformer manufactured for Radio Shack by Acrosound" at an estate sale recently. The label is red and white like Acrosound labels. It states "Type RS-310." I am assuming RS stands for "Radio Shack" and this designation was a convenient record-keeping decision.
The only literature I could find was an old Acrosound catalogue of Ultralinear transformers.
In this Acrosound document the morphology and dimensions of this RS-310 corresponds to the "Type A" Acrosound case.
But Acrosound did not produce any "RS-310" models. They did produce, however, a "TO-310" model (which IS in a Type A case).
The question is: Is this RS-310 just a re-branded Acrosound TO-310?
I ask because I don't wish to assume they are the same just because they both have "310" in their model names. I am hoping someone here has some insight on this!
Thanks!
