Never saw a "Polished" Mitchell before-Beautimous ! Did see a polished P-51 Mustang-It was obviously Somebody's Baby, 'cause even the WHEELWELLS were polished. I think there are a handful of airworthy specimen of a lot of the WW2 Warbirds floating around-But if you have to ask how much one costs, fuggeddaboutit-you CAN'T afford it.

Some years back a company that had 3 or 4 AT-6s brought them to Tracy and sold rides. Lots of the local retired military men bought tickets ($300 - $600) and went for a putt. I used to go down to the airport and watch them land and take off.

The last time while they were here, a friend of mine called and said he was flying his T-28 up to near the Oregon border to see his nephew, and asked if I wanted to go along for a ride. What a hoot! Best plane ride I've ever had.

Same location, 'real' airshow this time. Here is a the Firehawk, a Sikorsky S-70A Blackhawk. Back at base after multiple bambi bucket runs to the Lowell Fire in Northern California. an OV 10 Bronco spotter plane in the background.
