Don't know if I would call the 115 legendary unlike the 117.

A Yamaha RXV1 pushed it out the door.The R117 was a nice sounding amp when some serious volume was applied but for normal or lower level listening for some reason I rarely used it.It also started to develop problems in the FM stereo and the controls would get noisy.Probably from not being used much so I eventually sold it for $150.

^ I too mostly listen at normal or lower levels so I never felt the need for the additional oomph of the R-117.
