Ah, BB does another unique masterpiece 
It boggles the mind, but BB is one hell of a creative guy and is showing us all what can be done with a bit of imagination. The suspended weight was a new trick to me. Very, very impressive :thmbsp:
I suspect that TT is competitive WAY up the food chain :scratch2: Since two knowledgeable AK'ers have listened to it, where would you'all put it in terms of sonic competition? Somewhere up in Oracle Delphi country, or there abouts? Maybe better?

Thanks for the very kind words Broc! As for it's ranking, I'd need to swap the Linn Akito/Ortofon Rondo Red arm over to it before I'd be comfortable in ranking it.

Knowing what you've done to the LVV, removing all of its original issues, I look foreward to that ranking as well. I would also be curious as to the evaluation of the Rondo Red in the LVV as well. The major difference(s) between the Akito and the LVV now would come down to arm tube and fixed vs removable headshell.

SA-weet.. if that TT sounds half as good as it looks you have winner. Tell me please what is the table in the first set of pics the TT is sitting on. Kinda looks like aligator finish. Not the faux granite in the 2nd set of pics. I REALLY like the first table the TT is sitting on, not so much the 2nd set. If that 2nd set is YOUR home setup, letme suggest going to your neighborhood granite shop and look for a nicer stone. I do stone for a living so its a standout thing for me. The first table top looks killer that 2nd top with gear on in, not so much. I hope you dont thake my critique personal, like I said I do stone for a living and Chinese stone really well looks cheap in comparo and you should be able to get a nice piece of stone for a GREAT price for that size top, fab only pick up at the shop.
Again not dinging on it by any means, to me that TT is totally killer and I think deserves the presentation that an American made top can deliver. Suggest Onyx top you can under light it with a nice glow showing thru the stone as the TT spins and gives good delightful sound. Onyx is opaque and can be under lit with light that will glow thru the stone and make that TT look as sparkling as the sound. If you like gold, get a 2cm shelf/top in Honey Onyx or if you like red/green get green Onyx which will have read streaks.
Examples:
Green Onyx = 1st pic
Honey Onyx = 2nd and 3rd with back lighting

Local stone supplier in your area is MSI - we get this kind of stone from them in slabs. If you dig what I'm saying you should go take at least a look see at what I'm talking about and then ask MSI for local shops that would make you a top with whatever stone you like. MSI is a stone supplier not a fabicator so they wont make you the top... check that they may make it you will need to ask.

It is a coffee table with a hewed top made from Acacia wood (African hardwood).
It's not faux granite, it's cut from a real granite fireplace hearth and it's working just fine for me.
