NTC-resistor value in Marantz 4230

The lead broke on mine as i was disconnecting the board. Theres nothing i can solder onto. If I could find an original part, Id be all over it - but im stuck for now. How do I measure the original? My multimeter has decided to die too - any recommendations for a reasonably priced unit? Thanks for the help!

Same story as mine: broke leads when diconnecting the board. I`m listening to mine nearly every day and it have full funktion since my last reply. If you are thinking of doing it the same way as me and replace with two glasdiods in serie you must get a new multimeter and check the biasvoltage very carefully, don`t let it go over 80 mv.

Thanks for the info! I contacted Rob via email. Where do you connect the multimeter to measure bias and idle current on the 2230?
 
Just to check on my 2230, I have a 1.4V voltage on H005 (sv3a).
On the other channel (defective), a voltage drop of 1.8V gave me an idle current of more than 100mA with the idle pot to minimum.

A 2x1N4148 put between J751 / J752 solved the problem but I'm now with the problem of finding a remplacement for the defective SV-3A.
I could'nt find the datasheet for this SV-3A. Does anyone can help me ?
