Numark Craigslist TT

I'm in the market for a used TT, I have none at the moment.
Anyone have any inormation on this Numark?

I've requested the model number and cartridge specs from the seller. He/she is close to my house, and thought it would make a great rainy day project to add this to my Pioneer sx-6000 receiver.

Let me know what you think? Would it be worth $75?

Chinese build Hanpin SL-1200 knockoff. Won't be a great performer, but should make for a decent entry level table.

You can see the model number in the picture if you enlarge it. TT 1510. I looked it up and from what I could find it seems to be a pretty old model which, according to one site, had an MSRP of $84.95 new. If it were me I wouldn't bother.

Wow, I never heard of that, but it's a real bargain at around $200 shipped (including cartridge) although it should be noted that it has an MDF platter (you can upgrade to an acrylic platter and better cartridge for an additional $100).

Edit: looking closer, it does appear that they've scrimped in some areas: the headshell is non-removable, the counterweight has no calibration marks (tracking force is preset at the factory) so can't be easily adjusted without a stylus pressure gauge, no anti-skate that I can see.

You can find U-Turns on eBay or AK occasionally for even cheaper, if you want.
