While cleaning my 2275 I found two sets of numbers that I was wondering about. There is a sticker on the inside of chassis that has the Plant code of 7131. Is there a list anywhere that would indicate where plant 7131 was located. Also there are the numbers 291706301 that go around the tone mode that are visible after removing the knob. What are there significance?

I've never seen info about the plant codes. Would be interesting to find if that's a location, or if it's a code for the factory to know what parts to stuff in the chassis, since many Marantz receivers shared the same basic chassis.

The second number is a part number for the faceplate, referenced "escutcheon" in the service manual.
 
Have never come across a list of plant codes but its going to be a Japan plant indefinitely.

The number behind the knob is the marantz part number for the faceplte. You can confirm this in the service manual.
