Odd DBT behaviour

Anytime i've been replacing any component on Marantx SR1000L i've always fired it back up on the DBT to be sure there wasn't a problem. Everytime i did this, it "worked" as expected, initially bright then dimming down, so "as expected".

Last weekend i replaced 2 transistors and 2 caps on the volume/balance board PE00. When i started it on the DBT since, it burns bright and stays bright. If i then power down the receiver and then power on again, it starts bright, then dims down again, so "working" again. Anyone seen this type of behaviour before or do i have some kind of short in there? Thank you.

Some models don't like to be started on a DBT. Personally I don't use a bulb unless I'm working on the power supply or amp. This even though I have the more deluxe version of startup, a variac with an AC amp meter to monitor current flow. I recently worked on this model and didn't notice anything weird though. Bet I didn't use the light bulb path in my power setup though!

Given that I also have some light flicker too from the Fm meter and power meters I wonder if the switch could be a bit dodgy. Part number is SP02010330 according to SM. Don't suppose anyone knows of a suitable replacement?
