Odd rattle noise

Hello there! I thoroughly appreciate the help. I've been having a particularly odd experiences with turntables recently. A couple of weeks ago I bought a late 80s Pioneer amplifier (SA-1270) and a Vintage Pioneer turntable at a trusted seller at my local flea market, as well as some used Sony SS-U4033 Speakers. This being my first time having a stereo setup I had my experienced friend help with setting it all up. Upon listening to some records, we noticed an odd inconsistent rattling noise coming from the needle (This was apparent when i used a brush to clean off the end of the needle and the sound could be heard). I returned the record player in exchange for a Sony PS-LX22.When listening to records again the same sound could be heard. I was spinning a slightly warped LP and the sound came through mostly on the "hump" on the record. The noise is also at its worse at the beginning of a side of an LP (the closer the needle gets to the center the less rattling, sometimes subsiding all together). Additionally the sound is loudest when the needle comes off the record.) How i could describe the sound is like two large marbles being rattled in a maraca. The sound comes through less or more depending on the LP. the needle is a Diamond needle 4213-d6 and an audio technica AT3482P cartridge. I am an amateur in this realm, so any information or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again
An additional note, when i went back to the seller at the flea market i asked him if there was something wrong with the pioneer player i had gotten, he had it taken to a guy who specializes in stereos and said before and after tightening the cartridge and needle (?) no rattling noise was ever heard. ALSO, when i tried the sony player at the store it sounded totally fine.
