OK next Sunday is a big record show SO I put a Darkroom processor I wasn't going to ever use on ebay to score a little Vinyl fun money.
CRAP first time around it doesn't sell So I relist it with a little lower BUY IT NOW price.
OK more action this time a round And BANG tonight I get notice of it selling at my BUY IT NOW PRICE of $125.00
YEA WHOPPIE I read the email farther **** DAMN CRap njlodf " buyer has 0 feedback and has been registered since 01/23/08 FROM SOUTH KOREA.
SO the Paypal option has NO protection against charge back NONE. So there goes the Happy happy money getting here quick.
AS I see it my only option is to ask for a WESTERN UNION Money Transfer in USD for the amount and Shipping. And Then hoping they go for it.
That way I have Cash in hand and No chance of charge back from a CC or accepting a Paypal which would of course be funded from a CC anyway.
Now I sold a lot of Camera gear all over the world I've sold to South Korea to Argentina even to Croatia and had things go very well but always with someone I could verify one way or the other either ebay feedback or long term discussion forum members.
BUT this has my shorts in a twist.
SO anyone got any other options or risks I'm not seeing.
Shipping will be USPS EXPRESS MAIL with full insurance including the cost of shipping.
NOW I know I'm risking the Neg feedback extortion thing that I can deal with.
The was not a bidder when the auction ran the first time and was not one of the 6 bids placed prior to the BUY IT NOW.
The interesting thing about this is the guys address is a Medical facility. And this type of processor would have a number of applications in a darkroom in a medical facility.
