Hmm, yeah, looks like the buyer changed his mind about wanting to own it.

Shame, his photographs...

Will be watching this one out of curiosity.

Were these purely cosmetic jobs or was there electronic restoration as well?

Sam, "customized, not special" by the sellers own words! Looks like chrome, paint and decals. Already getting great questions on the auction....:D

Are those Billet aluminum end pieces on the front panel? Ought to add some UV blacklights inside to make it glow. :smoke:

I like the black cabinet cover, the gold is a bit overdone. Overall, it's gaudy but not awful. Most people would not see the gold bits once it's installed anyway. It beats woodgrain or wood cabinetry by a country mile in my opinion.

Good lord that thing is ugly. That's a two bagger for sure. I don't think I would want that thing if they gave it to me. Even if I restored everything to original I could never forget how it once looked.

I don't think it looks that bad at all. I would not have went with the gold and that can easily be reversed. The more i pursue this hobby, the more it seems similar to my musclecar hobby :D both have purists. To each their own i guess.

Actually, those end pieces are the only thing I like about this disaster.

Yep nice looking replacements, in case the original walnut pieces are damaged. Cabinet work looks nice too. Again, only if the original was too deteriorated to restore the walnut veneer. That's as far as I would go from stock myself.

Rosie!

I think that "Rosie" was the name of a girl that I woke up next to after a night of too much Jagermeister. They actually look alot alike.
