My CR-1020 went down yesterday...lost the right channel output on all functions. :(

I'll have to box it up and get it over to the shop. This sucks...

I have a substitute Onkyo receiver filling in for now but it just doesn't sound the same!

the last version was made in 1978! 38 years old not bad! Hopefully it can be repaired.I owned on for 21 years and it worked flawlessly until I sold it.
 
Just like others have said, I'd deOxit the likely culprits: volume, Balance, coupler switch, and don't for get the "L, R, L+R, Stereo, Rev" selector to.

Don't forget the mute push on / push off switch. I have had that problem on several yammies.
 
Well, a good cleaning of the switches, volume and balance, a couple of cracked solder joint repairs and we are good to go! I'll put it back in that system today and give it a good listen.
