Try cleaning the coupler switch on the rear panel.
Don't forget the mute push on / push off switch. I have had that problem on several yammies.Just like others have said, I'd deOxit the likely culprits: volume, Balance, coupler switch, and don't for get the "L, R, L+R, Stereo, Rev" selector to.
Great news !Well, a good cleaning of the switches, volume and balance, a couple of cracked solder joint repairs and we are good to go! I'll put it back in that system today and give it a good listen.
